Maha Sinnathamby launched the MUR Group in 1976 in Perth and relocated the business to Brisbane in 1985. An entrepreneur, Maha offers specific expertise in conceptualising projects and making them happen. ‘Greater Springfield™’ is his main passion. Maha was recently awarded Ernst & Young Master Entrepreneur of the Year 2003 (Northern Region), the Paul Harris Fellowship 2004 and the Ipswich Region Chamber of Commerce President’s Award 2003.

Managing Director

Bob Sharpless joined the MUR Group in 1985 as a Director and shareholder and moved to Queensland when the group relocated its head Office. Now Managing Director, Bob is responsible for the management of the MUR Group and Springfield Land Corporation and plays an important role in negotiations with statutory authorities and with legal and financial matters.

Deputy Managing Director

Raynuha joined Springfield Land Corporation in 1997 as Director (Corporate) and has worked on the group’s major projects including ‘Greater Springfield™’ and the Warner Shopping Centre. Now Deputy Managing Director, she provides overall legal and corporate management for the company.

Chief Financial Officer

A Springfield Land Corporation employee since 1992, Malcolm has managed corporate financial accounting and company secretarial and administrative matters relating to the development, tourism and mining industry issues.

General Manager - Commercial Projects

Chris is General Manager, Commercial Projects for Springfield Land Corporation and is responsible for all non residential development activity. He has a specialist interest in transformation of the workplace utilising ICT and is responsible for developing Greater Springfield's ICT infrastructure.

General Manager - Planning Manager

Russell is responsible for all aspects of land use and infrastructure planning, integration and delivery and the management of SLC statutory obligations under the Springfield Structure Plan and Springfield Infrastructure Agreement.

Director of Education of Services

As a former principal and authority on education in Queensland, Neville now oversees the development of our specialised education precinct, Education City™ and the attraction of quality education and training providers to Greater Springfield™.

Assistant Director of Educational Services

Meera manages corporate legal issues, marketing and client base for Education City™ as well as assisting with Springfield Land Corporation corporate and legal issues.
