Global IT solutions company Dhanush have opened their new office at Springfield Tower, further demonstrating the new city's ability to attract global businesses that recognise the business opportunities available in the rapidly growing CBD.

Chairman of Dhanush, DSN Murthy, said their operations at Springfield Central would act as a regional support office for their head office in Sydney but in time they would look to grow their base at Greater Springfield.

"We have recently secured a large contract with the Papua New Guinea government and we believe that it would be most suitable, if the right conditions prevailed, to relocate our Australian operations to Springfield Central.

"Over the next few years we would anticipate our staff numbers at Springfield Central to grow substantially - in the order of about 200 people," Mr Murthy said.

Chairman of Springfield Land Corporation, Maha Sinnathamby, said Dhanush's move to Springfield Central was a big coup for the Western Corridor that would bring economic stimulus and jobs to Greater Springfield and the surrounding area.

"I am delighted to welcome Dhanush to the city of Greater Springfield, their choice to move here and take advantage of our forward thinking approach of embracing technological solutions is a wonderful milestone for our city, and I look forward to seeing them grow and prosper," Mr Sinnathamby said.

Dhanush is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and Oracle Certified Partner will house their IT platform in the Polaris Data Centre which will provide them and their partners with a fast, secure and reliable data connection to the global community.

Dhanush InfoTech, headquartered in Hyderabad, India is a leader in Products and Services Sector in the Global Market, with a history of 100% successful ERP implementations to its credit.

Dhanush is led by experts with a collective experience of over 50 Years in research, design, development & delivery of high-end technology solutions. Dhanush has clients in North & South America, Europe, Middle East, Australia and Africa.

Dhanush service capabilities include ERP Consulting (Oracle & Microsoft Products), Software Application & Product Development (Microsoft .NET, ProvideX, Mobile & Embedded Technologies), Application Testing, DBA Services, Hosted ERP Services, and Training Services.

Dhanush specialises in creating innovative platforms for specific products, software engineering and database consulting while also recently diversifying their operations to include embedded products such as vehicle tracking technology.

"Our vehicle tracking technology allows organisations with a large number of vehicles, such as taxis or government, to track the specific location of vehicles which increases the safety for employees and decreasing the cost of insurance," Mr Murthy said.

If a vehicle fitted with Dhanush's tracking software exits a certain perimeter it can be remotely ‘shut down' and immobilised, a feature bound to please insurance companies but irritate car thieves.

Dhanush can also create industry specific products to increase efficiency, and ultimately profitability, for businesses of all kinds.

"Australia has the largest scaffolding industry in the world, yet until we created one there were no software solutions available that were specifically designed for the scaffolding industry," Mr Murthy said.

Dhanush joins NEC, Dalkia, Cardno and GHD as global companies to have opened operations in Greater Springfield this year.

Available space in the award winning Springfield Tower is fast running out and anyone looking to take advantage of the environmentally friendly yet technologically advanced design of the inner-city ten storey facility is encouraged to contact Terry Honan on 0423 343 064.
