When is the Greater Springfield Marathon Running Festival?

Occurring on Sunday the 15th of September, the Greater Springfield Marathon Running Festival includes full races, fun runs and a kids 1km fun run in the heart of Greater Springfield. All distances are IAAF-AIMS certified with the total cash prize for all podium finishes totalling up to $4,800!

The day’s proceedings begin at 5:50am with a welcome presentation and an overview of the schedule and courses, with the Half Marathon beginning at 6:00am. The Greater Springfield Running Festival Marathon will also feature a number of food stalls and displays, with live entertainment provided throughout the festival. Early bird entry fees are now open to the public, so book online now to secure your spot in this inaugural event for Greater Springfield and the athletes of the south-east. The Greater Springfield Duathlon Cancelled for 2019

We regret to report that the Greater Springfield Duathlon, which was planned to take place on Sunday the 21st of July, was cancelled for 2019. Triathlon Queensland, the organisers of the event, remain committed to the event taking place in future and will be working towards finding a solution to continue the event in the 2020-21 season.
