If you’re looking to make your loved one’s heart flutter this Valentine’s Day, then look no further than Greater Springfield for your romantic night out. Here are our top five picks for dining options on February 14:

Brookwater Golf & Country  Club

Brookwater Golf and Country Club has been running its hugely popular Valentine’s Day Degustation Dinners for three years now, which continues to grow yearly.
The 2020 Valentine’s Day dinner package will include a five-course degustation menu with a palate cleanser course, along with the option to add paired wines to four of the courses.Brookwater Golf and Country Club events executive Kelly Stinson said this year was expected to be the biggest turnout yet. “Every year our event has grown, with more than 80 guests last year and a predicted 100 guests for this year’s degustation,” Mrs Stinson said. “We are staying with our original Valentine’s Day degustation dinner format that our guests enjoy, which is a very romantic setting, featuring delicious food, wonderful service and soft background music. “As far as I’m aware, Brookwater Golf and Country Club is the only place in Greater Springfield that offers this five-course degustation menu for Valentine’s Day, which is probably why it’s always so popular and sets us apart from other venues.” The Brookwater Golf & Country Club Valentine’s Day Degustation Dinner is on Friday, February 14 from 6:30pm. Cost is $75 per person for a five-course degustation and $25 per person for paired wines. Bookings are essential and can be made via https://www.trybooking.com/BHRBB or contacting Kelly Stinson on 3470 9431 or via email: k.stinson@brookwatergolf.com.

Pizzeria La Prima

You’ll have your loved one singing ‘That’s Amore’ this Valentine’s Day with Pizzeria La Prima’s special Valentine’s Day dinner set menu.

Recently voted as one of Brisbane’s best pizzerias, Pizzeria La Prima will be serving up its famous pizzas, as well as freshly home-made pasta, with tiramisu or Nutella pizza for dessert.
The authentic Italian restaurant run by Milan-born Claudio D’Andrea has also recently acquired its liquor licence, so will be serving up Italian wine and beer to compliment dinner for an ‘autentico’ romantic dinner experience.

Mr D’Andrea said this year Valentine’s Day at Pizzeria La Prima will be the most romantic yet. “Last year we prepared a really nice set menu but it was only with pizzas, so this year we will be adding some fresh pasta like pappardelle and gnocchi,” Mr D’Andrea said.

“I think this year will be an even better turnover then last because we are bringing even more fresh, Italian cuisine to our customers and in the best way possible.
“This is our second Valentine’s Day and we’re always growing, so we can’t wait to feed even more couples and make it feel perfect for their special night.”

Vibe Kitchen and Bar Front of House Elle Bolton said love would definitely be in the air on the 14th, with live music, great food and cosy vibes.
“This is our first Valentine’s Day, so it’s a really nice event and we’ve already got lots of tables of two booked in,” Miss Bolton said.
“We will be offering three types of entrée, main course and dessert which includes everything from mushroom bruschetta to pork belly to our house cheesecake.
“The kitchen will be open from 5:30-8:30pm and the bar is open until 12am. We’re also looking to maybe have a dessert theme and will decorate the café with roses to make it as cosy and romantic as possible.
“We’ll also be bringing back one of our most popular live acts Ally and Sarah between 6-9pm who are always very popular.
“We’ve had them in many times and people love them because they play different styles of music and always do something new.
“They create such a a good vibe when they play and take requests and make sure everyone is happy which is great.”
